Atlanta wedding venues
Evergreen Hotel at Stone Mountain
Surrounded by the beauty of Stone Mountain Park the Evergreen Hotel offers several great locations for wedding and receptions. Host an outdoor wedding in the covered lake pavilion with a stack-stone fireplace. Or celebrate outdoors on a scenic resort deck with views of Stone Mountain and Lake . If you’re planning a large wedding, invite up to 550 guests for a celebration in the elegant Evergreen Ballroom.
The DeKalb History Center
A classic wedding venue located in the middle of Decatur, Georgia this historic wedding venue glistens with marble walls and massive windows.. With plenty of intricate architectural elements dispersed throughout the property, this piece of history creates the perfect backdrop for an elegant weding.
Trinity Episcopal in Decatur
Located in downtown Decatur, Holy Trinity Parish Episcopal Church is one of my favorites churches to photograph weddings in. The sanctuary and stained glass windows are spectacular. Plus, there’s a convenient place to hide in the front of the sanctuary while photographing the couple getting married.
Academy of Medicine
An elegant reminder of Atlanta’s past, the Historic Academy of Medicine at Georgia Tech is one of my favorite venues. The Academy’s neoclassical architecture is rich details including Doric columns, the black and white Italian marble floors a famous Czechoslovakian chandelier seen in "Gone With The Wind.”
The Trolley Barn
The Trolley Barn is nestled in the tree-lined neighborhood of Inman Park, surrounded by late 19th and early 20th century architecture. Designed in 1880, The Trolley Barn is an architectural treasure and a graceful reminder of the past. It’s a great place for a wedding or a mitzvah.
