One of the organizations I belong to these days is the Wedding Photographic Society. The WPS is a "network of professional wedding & portrait photographers who come together to collaborate on photographic ideas, thoughts, and information in an attempts to elevate the artistic, technical, and business standards of the wedding photographic community." I've entered the first two WPS contests of the year and have won awards both times. Here are the latest award winners. This first photo (taken at a wedding in south Mississippi) took an award in the Artistic category.
