I’m also an adventurous traveler, an all-round nerd, a slow hiker, a dog-lover, a hospice and Alzheimer’s volunteer.

A few of my favorite tv shows are Hacks, One Mississippi, Offspring, Atypical, Resident Alien, Top Chef, Criminal Minds, Deadloch.

I have lived in 21 cities spread across five states:

| Georgia | Florida | Vermont  | Indiana | Mississippi |

I have photographed more than 100 weddings, a biker funeral, Ted Bundy, a train derailment and the dedication of a screened-in porch.

Cindy Brown, Atlanta wedding photojournalist, photographing an engagement session.

I have documented weddings large and small, Hindu and Pagan, indoors and out, Christian and Muslim, in backyards and in churches. The most exotic wedding I have photographed took place in Mexico and was officiated by a Mayan shaman.

You won’t find many wedding photographers with the education, experience and caring personality that I have … a sense of humor and humility, too. :)

When I'm not photographing weddings, portraits or corporate events, I work on personal photo projects, hike at Stone Mountain, work for racial justice and welcome refugees to our community.

My pronouns are she, her and hers.

I love taking selfies

My wife Sharon and I met in 2000, celebrated with a civil union in Vermont in 2001, got married in Connecticut in 2012 and celebrated again with a vow renewal in Atlanta in 2014.

Roux, our beagle-cattle dog mix, came into our life in 2011. I write haiku poems about him. Here’s my favorite:

White with red freckles
My quiet canine soulmate
Snorts and licks my face
